The MPower app was created by Robyn Laub OT/L to meet the ever-evolving communications needs of therapists and parents. With more than 25 years of experience as a professional pediatric therapist, Robyn and her colleagues have seen the opportunity to interact with parents decrease while the need to share information with them increases. Technology and time demands have forced many parents and therapists alike to be busier than ever before, which was the impetus for creating the MPower app.
With the MPower app, Robyn wanted to find ways to help better manage time.
For the therapist, you can view a child’s progress when they are not in your office.
For the parent, you are able to see your child’s progress in real-time, and help your child celebrate achieving their personal goals.
Most importantly your child can document their progress, see their achievements, receive recognition, and take accountability for their work.
The MPower app is available to therapists as a subscription for $5.99 per month and allows them to communicate with an unlimited number of parents within their practice.
TheMPower app for parents is free to download from the App Store or Google Play and can be activated once your therapist adds you to their profile.
The MPower app bridges the communication gap between therapists and families by providing a shared space where parents, therapists, and the child can communicate in the time and manner that works for them. Whether you’re running to a meeting, the next client, or shuttling back and forth between baseball practice and ballet lessons, the MPower app enables you to keep up with your child’s progress in a way that works best for your busy schedule.
